Generally in Asia, seafood is best to be consumed in an air open concept and Nong & Jimmy is one that abides by this concept. The surroundings and ambience feels just like another Chinese seafood place but the cooking is different as it strongly has that Thai flavour.
You can be rest assured that anything you order will not turn out to be a disappointment. I really have no favourite dishes here as everything's nice. I'd try different style of cooking for every visit. All one needs to do is to mention what you want (eg. type of fish, prawns, type of vegetables, crabs, type of clams, cockles and tom yom soups.) Everything goes well with their egg fried rice or even white rice. The one unique thing is the dessert as they serve chakoi, which is Chinese (fried dough) and it's eaten with kaya (a sweet coconut jam).

It's a sandwich bar that serves good sandwiches and salads for a reasonable price. A great place to have your quick lunch, light supper, meeting up friends in the evening and hang out till midnight.
Favorite Dish: Caesar Salad and Crambo Club

Loads of people I know says that they like the naan bread and the tandoori chicken here, which has made me curious and I decided to try it one day and was totally unsatisfied. The service is really bad because they're very rude. The place is really dodgy but I won't complain too much on that because it's a street hawker stall and I've already expected that so I shouldn't say anything about that.
However, the chicken is too dry and the sauce that comes with it is awful. Price is so much more expensive. The reason for my posting of this place is because my taste might be different than yours and you might like it and have a better experience than I did. So, give it a shot and see how it goes. I'm happy if you like it because loads of people seem to be fond of it.

They have such fresh made bakery here. The place is always packed with local residents around the area everytime the freshly baked comes out of the oven. It's also a nice cafe where you can linger and sit outside while having a light tea time with their pastry and even a complete meal.

It's a row of shophouses as well as food outlets. There are stalls along this area and all of them serves big glasses of fruit juices and they are very tasty too, unlike most places where they add more water than the fruit itself.
You may also fin Malaysian food here as well ranging from sate, rice with loads of dishes, anything fried, local burgers, Indian food as well and loads more. This is in a housing area and loas of locals buy their food here for take away or to dine there and therefore, the food is good.

Yong Tau Foo is famous in Malaysia. It's like Dim sum or maybe it is Dim Sum but it's in a soup. They also have the fried ones. Nothing much to say about this except that it's yummy. The layout of the restaurant is simple. Booths attached to the walls with chopsticks and small plates ready on the table and round tables in the middle with some tables at the outside of the restaurant as well. Price certainly is very cheap.
Favorite Dish: Siu Kaw - Fried and in soup.

The place is located at Jalan Ampang, next to an office building called PERKESO. You'll find a wooden cowboy two storey bungalow. Inside, you'll find yourself in a western cowboy 'saloon'. At your table, there is a bucket of nuts - I can't seem to remember what the name is. Anyway, drinks come in a big mug, which is cool. They have the best ribs here. Its excellent. Price is very reasonable.
Favorite Dish: Spare Ribs with Barbeque sauce and the set lunches. Nachos here is good too as it comes with beans.

It serves local and western food cooked the Nyonya style. It's typically authentic. The restaurant name has been established in KL for as long as I can remember and the taste and quality of the food stays the same.
Their first outlet is at Ampang Park Shopping Center and this is another branch of theirs with a slighty different name, which they replace the word 'Corner' to 'House.'
Favorite Dish: The Chicken Chop with Gravy is a must. If you're a foreigner, you should definitely try the local dishes.

It's a hawker stall and it may seem rather dodgy for some but I don't mind about the place and surroundings as long as the food is good. I've only discovered this place recently and I love anything that they fry. The prices are very cheap. I couldn't believe it for something in KL.
Favorite Dish: My 2 favourites are 'Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin' and Nasi Goreng Ayam.'

Well, it's almost like a food court. You have everything local here. It's a hawker center placed under one roof and managed by the 'Boss' named Suzi. It's a really famous place among the locals. Everybody knows Suzi's Corner and everybody comes here. The prices are cheap and it's easier to meet here as they serve a variety of food. Even the western foo is made the Asian style, so one needs to get used to it.
One thing to note is not to go to the toilet. It's very dodgy and unhygienic but the rest is alright. I will try to add photos the next time I edit this.
Favorite Dish: Char Kuay Teow and Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin.
