Favorite thing: During the low tide, thousands of Fliddler Crabs get out of their holes in the mud in search of food. They are fun to watch with their oversized claw and their quick side-to-side movements.

Favorite thing: Bearded Pigs are also unique to Borneo. They have become very confident with humans and they are easy to encounter roaming around the bungalows of the National Park Lodge looking for food.

A: Hi! Hiking boots/runner shoes would be fine for the Bako & long house trip. Beach sandal should come in handy for the boat ride to Bako NP and along the river (if any)...
