Muddy

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Wear good shoes, since the nose monkeys like to spend their time in the mangrove coastal area where it is quite muddy. Also wear long sleeve pants for the "blood suckers".

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Definitely mosquite repellent.

Photo Equipment: Take extra film or chipcard, there are so many pictures to shoot, especially when you are eye to ey with a nose monkey.

Miscellaneous: Fauna in the rainforest is not easy to spot. A good pair of binoculars will help you to see the wildlife without any disturbance. But, for this purpose, the assistance of a good, experienced guide is essential.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Comfortable cotton clothes and good hiking boots are essential to go hiking in the jungle under conditions of extreme humidity and heat. Bear also in mind the fact that you will have to walk on mud, especially in the mangrove area during low tide.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: None supplied, bring your own.

Photo Equipment: Of course!

Miscellaneous: While water is plentiful for purchase at the canteen, you will have no luck trying to procure beer or other spirits. Therefore, if your idea of a fine sunset includes a little nip of something stronger than water, you will have to pack it in yourself.
