Kuala Lumpur Rail Transit System

If you don't have any mode of transports while in Klang Valley, opt for the Putra LRT. You can go from Kelana Jaya, as far as to Gombak, where the buses to Genting Highlands are departing from.

From Kelana Jaya LRT station, there's a free feeder bus service to take you to AND from The Curve / Ikano (these are in brackets because they're opposite of each other). You can also go to Sunway Pyramid from the same station. There's sort of a bus station right beneath the LRT stop upstairs.

Overheated condition

Visiting Telawi may be fun but each time when I want to leave, it is a torment. This warning tip is for car owner when parking under the hot sun where the temperature inside the car rise up to nearly 60 Celsius. If you did not aware but sit in straight away, hahaha. You will be inflamed and burned. What I do is to open all the doors to let the overheated air come out. This is a warning.

Cabbies / Taxis Aware!

A new taxi in KL

The moment you get inside a taxi, make sure the taxi driver switched on his travel meter, or whatever you call it. If he doesn't, insist for it to be switched on. Otherwise he'll charge you any amount as he likes. And that usually means more than what you have to pay! If the taxi driver ignores your request, advisable if you just hail another taxi that comes your way.

Don't worry, KL and Selangor alone have almost more than 1000 taxis!

Unique Suggestions: Insist for the driver to turn on his cab meter to make your journey safer and please take note of the driver's three digit identification numbers plastered to his front window - useful if you wish to make a report / complaint / compliment to the taxi drivers' association, or the company that he works for.

Fun Alternatives: If you are travelling during the day, why not take the Putra LRT? You can go from Sunway to as far as Gombak! No attractions in Gombak, but useful if you are going to Genting Highlands. Else, there are also buses going around the cities, STAR LRT, the KL Monorail, or even the train by KTMB or if you have a friend here in the city, this is the time when you can ask them to take a day or two off from work and take you around the city!

Bangsar is not only Telawi, many peoples did not know this. If you have a car to drive towards Jalan Travers from Jalan Maarof, before you turn right to Travers, there's some roads turning to left, Jalan Abdullah is one where it has a small Indian village still exist, here it is.
