Cradle Rock

Cradle Rock is located at 5,500 feet above sea level, it is a popular picnic and rest spot with a spectacular view of Kuala Lumpur, Klang Dam, Batu Caves, Ulu Yam and Batang Kali. On a clear day you can even spot ships on the horizon in Port Klang!

The rock is more obvious on the way down to the foot of Genting.

Galleria Observatory

It's situated at the 18th floor of Genting Hotel. Many tourists missed this place as there's not enough signages leading to this obscure place.

It's indeed a good place to rest your feet and also an observatory to have a bird's eye view of the entire Genting Highlands Resort. You will have the chance to see the photos of the founder of Genting Highlands Resort, Datuk Lim Goh Tong and to understand the milestones / development of this renowned tourist attraction in Malaysia.

Best of all, admission is free.

Stone architecture at Genting Highlands, Malaysia

If you are observant, you will notice the impressive stone architecture at the outdoor theme park of Genting Highlands. This could be easily mistaken to be some place in Europe :)
