Luggage and bags: bring light luggage especially the hard cases with wheels so that it will be easy to just stroll with it than carry them.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: wear sweaters or windbreakers if you are the type who easily get cold since the air gets nippy especially at night
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: the hotels have free soap and shampoo and dental brushing kits but you must bring your own deoderants or perfumes and other hygien and personal care products.
Photo Equipment: ay kind of camera will do but your best bet will be a telephoto Digital SLR Camera and Full HD videocamera
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: no need to bring camping gear since you would be staying in a hotel
Miscellaneous: there are lots of Automated Teller Machines and Money exhange shops around, if all else fail then use your credit cards

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Most of the hotels (if not all) in Genting rely on the high altitude cooling climate instead of air conditioning. Hence it may get a bit hot during the drier months (May to July) and lighter clothing is advisable. For the wetter months (November to January), jackets and long sleeved attire are recommended.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Although Genting Highlands is situated in lush tropical rainforest, the altitude is quite high. Hence, the weather here varies from other parts of Malaysia. Average temperature is about 17 to 20 degrees Celcius. So it's advisable to bring along a cardigan or sweater when you wish to play at outdoors. A jacket is also useful to shield off your dress from getting moist by the fog. At times, Genting Highlands can be quite foggy with low visibility.
