Ahh The Monorail, this monorail ride has only two stations, the first world plaza station and the Outdoor Theme Park Station and the Monorail Ride shuttles back and forth these two areas on a leisurely pace providing a panoramic view of the Genting Highlands Complex and in amnd around the Outdoor Theme Park Area so that you will take lots of Pictures hehehe. The Ride will last about 10 minutes around the loop but beware since there is a long line of people waiting for a ride that sometimes the waiting time is longer than the actual ride time. the monorail ride is included in the All day park pass of the Outdoor and Indoor Theme Parks and you can ride as many as you want.

    Indoor Theme Park (Gondola Boats)

    romantic

this gondola boat ride located in the middle of First World Plaza just beside the Patio Bar is one of the popular rides in the Outdoor theme park area and it mimics the Venetian Grand Canals and the ride itself is smooth and there is a mechanical Gondolier just behind the seats for the added effects and the ride is included in the all park pass of the Genting Theme Parks. It is a nice way just to relax while seeing the sights in First World Plaza area and then eat or shop afterwards, the ride takes about 5 minutes around the patio complex and goes to several mock up bridges of famous asian bridges.

    fast

the flying coaster ride is not included in the all park pass and you have tyo pay an additional RM 8 to be able to ride it. The flying coaster ride is one of the highlights in the outdoor theme park area and is really packed with people wanting to experience being vertically pushed forward in a fast roller coaster ride. the ride usually takes about 3 minutes and is exhilarating according to my brother who rode it since I did not ride it due to my apprehensions on riding it but they really enjoyed it. the flying coaster is located near the exit of the outdoor theme park near the entrance to the first world plaza.

why include this childish ride among my Outdoor Theme Park tips? well simply because I am touring the genting highlands with my small cousins and my aunt and auntie besides my kid brother that is why this flying dumbo tip hehehhe. the flying dumbo is one of the popular rides of any theme park around the world for small kids since they feel the air of flying in a controlled roundabout gizmo which is waaay better than a grounded horse like carousel in the carousel ride hence the popularity with this ride for chikdrean like my younger cousins that is why. so nuff said.

First World Theme Park - Kids Go Crazy With Fun

    by Aidy_p Updated May 27, 2008 613 reviews

It's a whole new wonderland when you step into the First World Theme Park. The rides here are much more elaborate than the Indoor Theme Park located below Genting Hotel.

Here, there are rides in the air, on land, and even in the waters. For airy fairy rides, there are rides such as the Reindeer Cruiser where seating in these sleighs on rails provide the rider with a birds' eye view of everything that's happening in the park.

Perrenial favourites such as the Carousel and the Ferris wheel will also provide great fun for kids and adults alike.

Finally, there's even a Venice Gondola ride that sees a statue serenading to you while the gondola lumbers along the man-made river. Uniquely, the theme park has chosen to dress these statues in modern garbs. One of them even had a cool Adidas shoes! Talk about keep their"staff" happy.

Indoor Theme Park - First Stop For Fun

    by Aidy_p Written May 27, 2008 613 reviews

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Eiffel Tower Within The Indoor Amusement Park

Once you've dropped your bags in your hotel room, and you have a little girl of nursery age in tow, you can't be heading for the casino right away right? Well, within twenty minutes of arriving in Genting, my wife and I brought my little girl to the Indoor Theme Park.

There were arcade games and kiddie rides. The theme park has done away with tokens and have now moved on to use cashcards where you'd need to put the amount of credit requied, and just play to your heart's content.

There are also stalls located in that area where you can spin a wheel ala wheel of fortune, or even try to plant the ball in some coloured container to win yourself a prize.

Great place to stop before moving on the the more elaborate First World Indoor Theme Park.
