The Resortworld Genting Complex offers seasonal festivals to showcase the other nations arts and culture and the food plus foreign acts like singers or actors or famous personalities to be able to attract more local guests and also to attract more foreign Tourists. The festival at the first world hotel when we were there last april was the Songkran Festival of Thailand where they highlite the famous Songkran Festival of the Thais and also promote thai arts and culture by having thai stalls selling assorted thai ware and also offer thai food spicy specialties at the various restaurants in the first world hotel. They also have the magical show Glitz playing at the big theater in first world Plaza up to July.This is an excellent way to have more people coming so as there will be variety in this integrated resort.

Welcome to Asian version of buttered sweetcorn. Sweetcorn helps to reduce the chance of heart and liver disease, while margarine increases chances of heart disease. Oxymoronic right? Well, it's always nice to keep the stomach warm so indulge in these little snack once in awhile should not cause too much harm.

For a private room with lunch/dinner and 2 hours of singing at a minimum of RM12 nett per pax, this deal is really hard to beat. There are about 6 main courses for your selection with different pricing and no hidden charge, titbits and drinks inclusive. The songs are also up to date, so what are you waiting for? ;)

We chance upon a Mushroom Farm on our way down from First World Hotel to KL.
There is a small vegetable farm, koi pond, tea pot landscaping, minimart and a restaurant in this mushroom farm.
They sell yong toufu early morning. You could order seafood for lunch and dinner.
If you have problem getting here, just give a call and they will fetch you from Genting to the Mushroom Farm.

There are a few cafes in Genting. Its best to drink a cup of hot coffee in such a cooling weather. Go for Resort hotel Coffee bean, they are open till 3am ig i am not wrong.

This outdoor ferris wheel is suitable for all in the family. It also give you the opportunity to see the themepark from higher ground though not as high and as trill as the Space Shoot.

So, I just took a photo of the cable car !
The photo shows the cable hanging of course but the buildings at the back are hotels where you can also stay in for the night...We didn't.
