Fun things to do in Genting

Want to make a guess as to what kind of food is both healthy and unhealthy at the same time? Well, that's when you eat sweetcorn with loads of melted margarine and a little dash of salt.

Welcome to Asian version of buttered sweetcorn. Sweetcorn helps to reduce the chance of heart and liver disease, while margarine increases chances of heart disease. Oxymoronic right? Well, it's always nice to keep the stomach warm so indulge in these little snack once in awhile should not cause too much harm.

This is the one and only massage place (Actually there's really only one outlet) that my wife and I would normally end up at when we are in Genting. The offer includes foot massages to full body massage, but we'd usually go for the former.

A nice hot tub to soak your feet and then, a 45 minutes foot massage thatleaves your feet with that tingling feeling once the massage is completed. All in all, the session cost us about RM70 each. Priceless when it actually helps you to get that good night's rest.

See.. the space shot is so near the ferris wheel. Space Shot is a rapid vertical ascent and descent amusement ride. It lifts up to 12 people into the air, providing an exciting G-force on the way up and a feeling of weightlessness on the way down. It is definitely not for the faint-hearted. I could feel my heart dropping as the did the rapid descent even when I was on the ferris wheel. It travels at 67km/h. I dare not try this.

We chance upon a Mushroom Farm on our way down from First World Hotel to KL.

There is a small vegetable farm, koi pond, tea pot landscaping, minimart and a restaurant in this mushroom farm.

They sell yong toufu early morning. You could order seafood for lunch and dinner.
If you have problem getting here, just give a call and they will fetch you from Genting to the Mushroom Farm.

This is an intense ride and thrill seekers will like the ride.Riding this will get you really wet,so bring a change of clothes if possible.The ride time is about 10mins because of the boats are moving at a low speed.Each car can seat 4 and there are 24 boats altogether.Despite having 24 boats,the queue time is quite long as the track is long.

This double decker carousel is listed in the Guinness Book of Records for having the most number of coloured lights. It is not suprising then thats its look even more lovely at night - truely a sight to behold!
