The Awana Skyway is South East Asia's longest cable car ride which takes you on a precipitous trip between the hotels on the hill top and to Station No.1, where buses arrive and depart for KL.
The ride takes you on a 3.4km long trip high up in the clouds and over lush tropical jungles for a mere RM10. From Station No.1 below, to the main resorts on the hill top is a 700m climb.
Just a small tip though, if travelling by taxi from KL ask to be dropped off at Station No.1. That way, if you buy a return cable car ride you can catch a bus or taxi back to KL from there.
Our taxi took us to the top where all the hotels are which meant that our return ride took us back to the top again. I then had to purchase a single fare ride back to Station No.1 to catch our bus to KL.
But we did get a look around from all those rides ;~)

While you wait for the sky lift to take you high above the clouds why not pat a furry bunny..they are so cute .an for a couple of ringgets you can also feed them ......a good way to pass the time with kids....young and old.

Ya can spend some quiet & peaceful time wiz Genting Skyway. Ya can see all ze moutains & forests from ze cable car. It takes quite a long time & the cabin is not so clean.

Enjoy the view of the rainforest and mountains by taking the Genting skyway on a clear day. The 11 minutes journey from Genting Highland to Gohtong Jaya cost RM4.00 one way and RM7.00 return.
