Favorite thing: Bukkit Tinggi is located to the Northeast of Kuala Lumpur. By taxi from the airport, it took us a little under 2 hours. You do however get to enjoy a view of the Batu Caves, as well as one of the most famous buildings in the world, the Petronas Twin Towers.
Enjoy your drive, but make sure you take along a little water and a snack, as the taxi can get quite long!!

Fondest memory: no fondest memory, only terrible nightmares..
my fren and i went a 3 day 2 nite package tour with colmar tropicale as our 1st destination..we reached at around 430...the check in time was stated to be around 3pm...when we talked to the receptionist,..horrors ...she told us the room is IN THE MIDST of preparations..so after a dizzy long ride,..we still had to lug our heavy luggage around going sightseeing..
the next disappointing thing was really the greatest letdown...we took our luggage n went from 1 end of colmar to the other..n we spent like around 1/2 hour..1/2 HOUR.n we cleared the place..dun really how come some folks can say they spend 3 hrs to comb the place..
we went back at 515 n we finally got our keys to the rooms..the room is in my opinion a 2 star only...we were told to wait in our rooms for our complimentary tickets to the sights like rabbit farms, etc..but the tickets were only sent up around like 7+, so there we were sitting in the room,..looking stupid....n we miss going to the places(rabbit fram , jap v) which incidentally closes at 6....we had dinner at the a french restaurant...the set dinner was quite gd , though somewat expensive RM75 nett...
next morning ,we woke up early to see if we can go out n visit some of the places..the buses are scheduled to move out every hour.we were TOLD that the 1st bus to jap v was 940..when it act was 840...so we took the wrong bus to rabbit farm..n end up only visiting rabbit farm, having miss botanical gardens n jap v cos we had to leave at 1200..not enough time to see jap v....so DISAPPOINTING
coupled with some personal unhappiness,.. its really an ultimately distressing trip...all in all, if anyone wans to go there,..best dun go for tour packages,..
