There are people from Shah Alam, Klang and Subang who come here regularly every weekend just to get the fresh seafood by the jetty. If you ever visit Kuala Selangor make sure you buy the fresh and dried seafood here as they are considerably cheaper than other places.
Fresh fish are only available at certain times of the way when the fishermen return from the sea.
What to buy: Fresh catches from the sea and preserved marine products such as fish and prawn crackers, shrimp paste, etc. can be found in abundance here.

What to buy: They are large and flat in shape, white in colour and pack in plastic bags. They are made of prawn, flour etc and deep fried. A popular tidbits. Quite addictive.
The shop will hang the packets at the entrance.
You can eat these while waiting for dinner to be served.
What to pay: About RM2/packet.
