Kuala Selangor Tourist Traps

If you are not from around the area, I guess you would not know the real price to pay for fresh seafood.
I got duped by this Malay seafood restaurant operator into paying RM90 for a plate of fried garoupa (which is NOT fresh!), two small plates of deep fried prawn batter (also NOT fresh!!), a small plate of mixed vegetables (which was very, very salty) & 4 plates of white rice for 4 persons. This means we had to pay RM22.50 per person which also means that with this price, I could get a seafood steamboat buffet in KL!!
Actually, the waitress got the order of the deep fried prawn batter wrong, telling us that the cook heard her say squid instead of prawns... (I am so sure she charged us for that wrong order!). I am still bothered by this until now...

Unique Suggestions: Unless you want to pay more than you should for seafood, don't EVER go to this restaurant which is by the roadside going from Pasir Penambang to Tanjung Karang.

Fun Alternatives: You'll get fresher, tastier, cheaper & more variety of seafood at the restaurants in Pasir Penambang.
