We had no problem after we got to Kuala Selangor.

Tourists can easily go to Kuala Selangor via public transortation from Pudu Raya Bus Station or Klang Bus Station (located close to the Central Market LRT Station in KL). From Pudu Raya Bus Station, proceed to platform 23 for bus no. 141 going to Kuala Selangor. The bus fare costs about RM4.70 and departs every half hour from 6.30am. Theme: Bus |
The reason why we went to Kuala Selangor is that we wanted to see the fireflies. Every night, hundreds of fireflies come to the mangrove in search of a partner and turn the bushes into a kind of Christmas trees.

You can get a public local bus from PuduRaya at platform twenty something. You will see the bus in red and white stripe labelled Kuala Selangor.
No need to buy ticket in advance. Just board the bus and get the tix from the conductor up there.

If you are planning on driving there yourself, you may follow the LDP Highway heading to Sungai Buloh. From there, you can easily find the signboard to Kuala Selangor.
Otherwise, if you are coming from KL via North-South PLUS Highway, you still have to exit at Sungai Buloh.

There are a few ways to get to Kuala Selangor which includes buses and taxis that leave regularly from KL's Puduraya bus station.
Our transport came as a part of a package deal, departing from our KL accommodation, with MM Adventures on the Kuala Selangor Firefly Tour.
Because there was only myself and my two teenage kids we travelled there in Mike's gold Mercedes. Michael is the owner of MM Adventures and will use either a mini van or his own Merc depending on the tour numbers. Leave a Comment |
