This is the annual festival held by the local native called the Bisaya People in Limbang. It is similar with the harvesting event celebrated by Iban People in other parts of the Borneo Island. The highlight of this festival, which outstands the other native celebrations, is the Buffalo Race! Hence, the best time to visit Limbang in order to witness this event is probably the first week of June every year. (photos with courtesy of Ms. Jaime :))

This is how the local folk call it. This is the only mud spring in Limbang (or in Sarawak, perhaps). It has been a place for the neighbourhood people to come and shower for fun, but it is less known by the town people in Limbang. There you will see many discreeted mud springs (of various sizes, either dead or alive) all over the place. Being there just makes you feel like walking on the surface of The Moon.

Most people come here (like me) our attention at the fish market is to get fresh crab. I bought few kilos to bring back to Miri and the crab still alive :-)
Another thing that we always bring back home is a type of fish..small fish. They grill the fish and you can just eat it. Nice too specially when you eat it with soy sauce, lime and small chillies. Yum yum.. Local people called the fish "IKAN TAHAI". Another way of cooking is to make it as sambal..

Limbang is a passer-by town. People pass by Limbang whether to go to Kota Kinabalu or to Miri but in between we have to pass by Brunei Darussalam.
Not really much thing to do.. well they have Recreational Park that is Bukit Mas. People can jog and picnic.
