Once you take exit 1113B, you will drive along this expressway passing by USJ, Kota Kemuning and two toll gates. Pay the necessary tolls, and the exit is after the Padang Jawa exit (meaning, don't turn into Padang Jawa), look out for the signs showing the exit to Klang & Banting. This is where you get off the highway.
I am happy to say that the road here has improved tremendously since my last visit a year ago. There are large second hand car yards, some pineapple and vegetable farms and brand new housing estates coming up. Just keep along this road.
Onto my next tip.
From the roundabout to Carey Island, it is about 20 km to Morib.
Continue your drive along this road, passing several workshops, car parts yards, palm-oil collection yards, housing estates and some smaller towns. Next up is the town of Banting. Here you will find many goldsmith shops, not one but two Kentucky Fried Chicken Outlets, a large number cloth shops and tailor shops and of course a wet market.
Look out for the large BANTING sign (see pics) and at this set of traffic lights, turn left to Morib.
Continue along this road, Jalan Morib, and soon you'll get to the car park leading to Morib Beach.
Still on the same road, you will pass the towns of Sijangkang and Teluk Panglima Garang, and some factories. Next up is a rather large town with a mosque and a couple of schools and petrol stations. After the road curves towards the left, look out for the roundabout which leads to Pulau Carey (Carey Island). (Click to enlarge the pics)
To head to Khang Guan Restaurant, follow the signs to Pulau Carey.
To head to Morib beach, don't bother with the roundabout, just continue along the same road. From here, Morib is another 20 km or so.
Get onto the LDP heading towards Sunway Toll. Immediately after the toll, keep left and take the second exit on your left
