Favorite thing: Batu Pahat Port is located near the rows of pre-war buildings.

This is where the loading and off loading of goods were taken place. The imported goods are then transported to the shops for sale.

Streets of Batu Pahat

Favorite thing: You can find many rows of shophouses with many old buildings in the streets of Batu Pahat.

Among them are mixture of modern shops and old trades and some pre-war buildings.

I chance upon an old narrow alley. Best to avoid these alleys at night.

I wonder if the POS box is still in use?

Favorite thing: Hammer and nail? Batu Pahat means "Chiselled Rock".

This is the monument that we came across when we drive into Batu Pahat Town.

Climb the stairs and you will be able to see a big field where the local held their soccer games and sports.

The petrol station is located nearby where you could top up some petrol before you continue your journey.

Favorite thing: A very old house of Batu Pahat is always so good to be here in photo. This kind of old architecture is abundant in the town centre of Batu Pahat. The happiness of visiting smaller town is all about taking photos of old old things.
