This Shopping Centre was opened not too long ago (less than 5 years). It is definitely very popular among tourists coming from Singapore as it is just next to the causeway. Most of the regular boutiques are there. Some reasonable-priced brand names are : - Vincci (Shoes and Accessories) - Seed (Casual Wear) - Padini Authentics (Casual Wear) - TOPS (Supermarket) - Mango (Formal Wear, regular Spanish Brand) - Levis Jeans - Times Bookshop - Starbucks, Olio Dome, Coffee Bean (Cafes) - Etc There is also a cineplex where you can catch the latest Holloywood, Hong Kong, Local Movies.
Normal shopping. You may be interested to shop for some Malaysia food products (eg Nutmeg preserves, Penang Bean Biscuits, Durian rolls, sweets, etc). If you are thinking of buying some chewing gum into Singapore, you may get it at City Square too.

Holiday Plaza is the first shopping centre built in Johor Bahru town. Although this place is considered an "old" place, it still attracts many shoppers.
VCDs, DVDs, Music CDs and Computer Softwares are abundant. There are a few good hairdressing salons on the 4th level.

by Jim_Eliason JB is a shopping haven for Singaporeans since prices are much cheaper in Malaysia. Therefore JB is full of modern malls catering to SG visitor's. The largest and most modern is City Square Mall. It has an excellent food court on the 5 th floor. Leave a Comment

There is a huge Carrefour located along Tebrau Highway just before JUSCO. The main anchor tentant is of cos Carrefour. But there are other shops like Bata and many shop selling from shoes, clothings, car accssories, fish aquarium and other stuff. This Carrefour is huge and sells almost everything under the sun. You could spend a few hours just window shopping over here. Popular with Singaporean who drive here to stock up their household items and marketing. Free parking is the added bonus. EyesMate Optometrist is located at level 3 City Square near Kenny Rogers. This Optical shop is recommended by a friend for their cheap contact lenses and glasses. Monthly disposable lenses could go as low as RM50 for 3 pairs. I brought 3 paris of O2 contact lenses for RM90 at their promotion price. Contact lense solution was at RM36 for a twin set. A eye test will be done and you could purchase the contact lenses according to your degrees. Glass are cheap too but you wont be able to get it within the same day.

It's the biggest and newest shopping mall in JB. If you like shopping, there's G2000, MNG, Giordano, MAC, Espirit, plus other smaller names if you don't like branded goods. If you like food, there's...Japanese, Macau, Hong Kong, Italian, American, Malaysian, etc. If you're looking for books and stationery, Harris has a great range! There's also the newest TGV cinema there and a large anchor tenant Jusco. Great place for families, couples, friends outing... child friendly. Simply put, you won't be disappointed.
Just about anything!
Depends what you buy, perhaps RM 300-RM 500 if you're on a shopping spree?

Carrefourre, Giants, Makro... There are several hypermarkets in and around JB, attracting many shoppers from across the causeway. During the weekends, these hypermarkets will be very crowded with shoppers buying their groceries for the week ahead... The hypermarkets will not be easily accessible by public transport and are not just across the causeway. They are about 20 minutes drive from the causeway on the highway, depending on traffic conditions.
Usually, things to buy here are normal groceries such as milk, meat, vegetables, fruits, bakeries, biscuits, etc, etc... During the festive seasons, there will be stalls selling festive goodies. The major festive seasons are Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali, mooncake festival, etc...
Lower in price for some products as compared to other shops. Not everything are cheaper... Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: The 3 major hypermarkets are along Pasir Gudang highway.
