When you pass through this road (Jln. Ungku Puan) you will see a lot of stall selling flowers, incenses and other stuff for the Hindu's to pray because the temple is just around the corner. There are quite a number of Indian restaurants at the nearby location too so just drop by and have a feast on spicy curry meal or try some Indian desserts...Relax for awhile before you embark on another journey around J.B town. Similar temples like of Southern India origin can be found throughout all major towns in Malaysia with significant Hindu Indian populations.
You can enter the temple but have to remove your shoes in the inner sanctum. Just ask if not sure. Photography is generally permitted.
As usual, you will find ferral pigeons at Hindu temple ground as well as the stalls outside selling flowers to dedicate to the Hindu dieties.
