This is a Pagoda window cum stove room in the Temple of Arapaima Fish. The pagoda is not a real pagoda but a shrunken sized one for decoration purposes, is for burning 'gold silver money' to the spirits of those living up there or down. If you are visitor, you might want to purchase some 'dead peoples' money' and come here to burn in the stove room of pagoda.

Arapaima is a big fresh water fish with colorful body of golden black red, its length sometimes go up to 10 or more feet. This fish can be found in lakes of Amazon basin but nowadays so commonly seen in Malaysia especially among Malaysian-Chinese community. The belief of Malaysian-Chinese is so variety and creative, they believe if someone touches the body of this Arapaima fish, this someone will be fortunated to strike lottery and become rich.
In a small temple in Segenting of Kampung Minyak Beku, there's a small pond with two giant Arapaimas, the temple owner built a pond (photo above) with well designed nature look-alike cave on it with holes for believers to sit there, to touch the fish for good luck strike lottery become rich.

Here is a photo to show you that the temple of Segenting has so many visitors, they come with beautiful dress in big car to pray and to touch fish. Some youngsters visit this place not for pray or touch fish, they went to the lover's bridge to paktor. In local language, paktor is...in love.

Very the Chinese tip 1 is about the location given its name Segenting. A fishing village actually built on the stilt where directly below the house saw salt water and fishes....but I think more garbage than fishes than salt water, I will show you in tips coming. This photo shows a young lady in yellow desperately craving for either money or husband by visit the temple to pray for her dream come true.
