Kelab Golf Tanjong Emas is the only golf course in Muar... It is a 9-hole course and located in the residential area and green area of the town... The par-35 course plays to 2,763m from the blue tees... The fairway is of cow grass and the course is well maintained... The fairways are shady by the side with old trees lining the fairway... It is rather cool, even in the afternoon sun, with the cool breeze blowing from the sea... The course has its fair share of water hazards and is not easy course to play...
Equipment: The clubhouse is clean with a good golfers terrace for food and drinks after a game... There are also men and ladies changing rooms which are not really used regularly as can be seen with dust accumulating on the benches and lcokers...
Turfmates are provided at RM31.50 for 18-holes and RM21 for 9-holes play (for non-members)... The green fee is also RM31.50 for 18-holes and RM21 for 9-holes...
