All meals inclusive in the package.. So it was buffet but nothing special, mostly rice. The ala carte menu is very expensive.. so its wise to stick with the food they provide. The food was kinda the same througout the 4 days.. The dessert is worse, its all rotated so You end up with small tiny pieces of hard cake.
Eat when you really hungry...
There is really nothing much to eat.. so we order lots of ice cream but they dont seem to have choices either...
Favorite Dish: The best thing here is the sambal belacan.. the hot chilli
If you want to save money, have lunch at Tanjung Leman Jetty before you board the boat to Sibu Island Resort. They have Nasi Lemak, Nasi Goreng, Nasi Campur, Mee Goreng, Burger Ramly, etc at very cheap prices. You better buy extra bottles of Mineral Water as the tap water at the resort is not safe for drinking. Taste a littly bit salty even after boiling.
At the resort, a plate of Mee Goreng will cost you about RM9.00.
Favorite Dish: The chocolate milk shake will taste absolutely heaven in this hot weather.
Here's a hint. By the 3rd morning, my traveling mate refused to eat the breakfast. Food was kinda bland, vegetables for the salad looked dying and grey and I heard several years on, the situation had not really changed. Well, it's a monopoly. Either you eat or you starve. Bring an iron stomach.
