The place is good for snorkelling if i had gone there during non monsoon season. The reason i went there during the monsoon is that they had a great promo during that time.. so no snorkelling for us. But during normal season that is march to october, u can book a snorkelling trip to pulau sibu kukus which is a small uninhabited island nearby. It has white soft sand.Stuffs u can see are nice corals, fishes and sea stars.. very clear water.what we did is just jacuzzi, went to the gym which had facilities that look like its bought from a second hand store, gym way too small and no air conditioner. If u don mind the pool, sauna and jus lazing around.. like me.. u wont mind the place..

The beaches around the island is littered with shells aplenty and they come in various shapes, colours and sizes. You get cones, bivalves and spirals, as long as you are willing to dig around a little more. Great for folks who loves collecting seashells!

So the corals are dying or dead. Heck, you can still snorkel; just don't expect much! At low tide, Pulau Sibu Kukus does have a long sand spit surfacing out of the water; great place to catch some sun rays!

The resort keeps tame deers on the ground and they are free to roam about. Feed them, pat them, take photos with them.
