The tap water here is not safe for drinking. And a bottle of 1L mineral water costs RM4.50 (that's about more than Sing $2.00, the exchange rate was about $1 to RM 227).\
Even after boiling, the water still taste slighly salty.
An alternative, you could buy lots of mineral water at the Tanjong Leman Jetty, or be a little adventerous and still drink the boiled tap water.
Yes, they have toothbrushes. No, they do not have tooth paste. To my detriment and to my horror I discovered when I realise I was short of toothpaste. Hopefully these several years on have finally seen toothpastes on their shelves in the sole grocery shop ran by the resort.
The resort will most likely bring guests to Pulau Sibu Kukus (or Coral Island) for snorkelling. Unfortunately, it seems that the corals there are dying away, victims of having too many tourists! So be prepared to be duly disappointed!
This is Islamic Malaysia. The act of it is against the law. I hardly think getting thrown into jail will greatly improve your holidays!
