 l_joo Says:  Just in case you worry Segamat has no hotels, this tip is a proof for you to make sure you don't visit Segamat by sleeping on the street at night. I saw at least 3 big hotels, more than just this one in photo, so just don't worry. 

 chiabh Says:  The Nan Yang Coffee Shop is located at Jalan Awang, in the heart of old Segamat town, just of the left hand side of the trunk road to Johor Baru. It serves good coffee and nothing else but toasted bread. The coffee is acceptable and I would grade it as better than the coffee... 

 l_joo Says:  Nan Kwang restaurant is about 100 footsteps far away from NanYang restaurant, I came by fluke for that was a public holiday and NanYang was closed and I had to search for another kopitiam to un-addict the coffee 'gian'. However I find Nan Kwang restaurant served some tasty...

 l_joo Says:  Fajar shopping mall is not the only one. In Malaysia, shopping malls is very important to peoples, we need at least 3 in every towns, there always have more than 3 big sizes shopping malls in towns like Segamat. Fajar is only one of them, if you have time, go ahead. 

 l_joo Says:  I came by the PLUS highway with exit at T223 of Pedas. From Rembau to Tampin, Gemencheh, Gemas, bypassed Batu Anam, stopped by Buloh Kasap and last arrived at Segamat. After a coffee, I drove again to Tenang, Labis, Chaah, Yong Peng, Batu Pahat, Semarah, Parit Jawa and back...
