If you do not want to carry extra bag during your arrival, you may buy bags in Langkawi as bag is also a cheap item in Langkawi. a very blue coral garden...sigh.. by bpacker Remember to buy a good filter for your underwater camera. I forgot and learn it the really hard way, all my underwater shots had a bluish tinge to it. The brilliant colours that I saw underwater exist only in my memories right now...boo hoo.... Leave a Comment

Telaga Air Panas (Hot Springs) by Salinas On the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia the rainy seasons is between the month of April to May and October to November. Rain tends to occur between November to February on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, on western Sarawak, and north-eastern Sabah. With an average temperature between 21 to 32 degrees celcius, its pleasurable to visit Malaysia all year round. . The hot humid weather in this country permits cotton and casual clothings all year round. In rural areas and when visiting worshipping buildings, decent dressings advisable -- no shorts, skimpy dresses or garments. For island hopping, I reckon you will not missed packing your swimming gear. Pack sweaters or jackets if you are visiting the highlands of Genting, Fraser's Hill or Cameron Highlands as the weather here could get a lil cool in the evening and early morning. Leave a Comment

Marina by kyoub Bring what ever you wish. It depends on whether you are staying for a week-end or a few months. Maybe you should bring an empty bag and stock up while you are here.
Langkawi is a very casual island so you won't need any dressy clothes. Cotton is best because it does get warm here even with the ocean breeze. Capris, shorts, shirts, long trousers, hat, swim attire and cover-ups. Don't forget the sandals and a pair of comfy walking shoes. Please only wear your swim attire while at the beach.
There are several shops but if you have a favoite brand it is best to bring it from home.
Bring it with you although it is duty free shopping here.
Don't forget to apply the sunscreen. Leave a Comment

Weather: tropical with occasional showers. It can get really hot during the day around 30-34 degrees. You don't really need jumper unless its rain..so just be on the safe side.
Insect repellant. Medications available from town pharmacy or small kiosk at most beaches.
If you love camping..yeah..why not bring your camp gear along. Leave a Comment
