This place is so relaxed you feel right at home. The surroundings are comfortable and very laid back. The owner Mr Ba is great and will always make you feel like an old friend. The restaurant sells all forms of Asian food.......chicken rice, chilli crab, too many to list.
All the dishes are our favourites. We couldnt choose between one so go ..and enjoy them all. and dont forget to go there for breakfast...... and say hi to Vivi.she is the best waitress there .always with a smile and a laugh first thing in the morning Leave a Comment Theme: LocalPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: In front of the Holiday VillaDirections: Jalan Teluk Baru

Excellent Service, lovely surroundings and of course one can sit outside on a terrace, tasty food at reasonable prices taking in mind that this is a 4-star hotel. Really good value, i.e. for food, atmosphere and service! This small unassuming restaurant in the Pantai Cenang area serves some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted. There restaurant only has maybe half a dozen tables and you get served on a first come forst served basis regardless of whether you have booked for a specific time. We waited about three quarters of an hour after ordering before our food came but it was worth the wait. They only serve beer and soft drinks here so if you want wine you have to "bring your own".and they will amke a small corkage charge of around 15 RM. We thought that was per bottle but we opened 2 and did not get charged any extra.
The butter chicken and the lamb rogan josh were my favourites. Leave a Comment Theme: IndianPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Pantai CenangDirections: Pantai Cenang area not far from Underwater world

Rasa restaurant is situated right in the centre of Pantain Cenang area. It serves a variety of good Malaysian food. There is no alcohol at all here not even beer-but as with Little India you can visit a local supermarket and bring your own
The satay and the nasi goreng were great! Leave a Comment Theme: Pan-Asian and Pacific RimPrice: US$21-30 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Pantai Cenang

The Bon Ton is perhaps the best restaurant in Langkawi. It's part of the Bon Ton Resort, a small but charming resort situated a 5 minute from Pantai Cenang and a 10 minute from the Langkawi airport. The restaurant is awsome, we had dinner outside in a delightful setting. The food was amazing, very well presented and excellent! The desserts were to die for also. It's not cheap but it was well worth every cent. It was the best meal I had during my stay in Malaysia. If you plan to go there I advise to book a table as the restaurant is very well known and has very good feedback and it's not large.
The Steamed Apple, Macadamia and Butterscotch Pudding dessert. It's delicious! Leave a Comment

This is a totally unique restaurant in the middle of a Mangrove swamp. We arrived at this restaurant by boat but if you arrive by road you have to be prepared for the 400 metre walk though the Mangrove swamp. On your way to the restaurant you can stop to look at the mangrove wildlife and birds. Being in the mangrove swamp you are likely to be plagued with the many mosquitos which buzz annoyingly around, but a good mosi spray should help. The restaurant itself is lofty and built mainly from teak wood so teaditionally Thai. If you visit in the evenings you may be entertained with jazz music.
Although we had a set lunch on our particular tour-we did have an additional Thai green chicken curry-wonderful!! Leave a Comment

As recommended by a local magazine, we had our 4th dinner at Orkid Ria - a seafood restaurant run by Chinese. According to our observation, the restaurant was very popular with tourists, not only Chinese but also foreigners. Some people were waiting for tables when we were having dinner. It's advisable to reserve a table.
We ordered: - tiger prawns in special sauce - sea cucumber with mixed vegetables - abalone clams - fried kankung (vegetables) in Malay style - Indian fried noodles - apple juice (green apples!) and orange juice (totally 4 glasses) All the dishes were yummy esp. the prawn and the noodles. The dinner costed us around RM110. Leave a Comment Theme: SeafoodPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Pantai Cenang, near Beach Garden Resort

Set deep within the mangroves of Langkawi, the restaurant is accessible only by a 450 metre wooden walkway with gazebos and seats along the walkway for photo opps or to observe the natural wonders and wildlife. You can also take a tour through the mangroves by boat. Great ambience, very romantic and mysterious. At low tide, the roots of the trees are exposed and sometimes they resemble those tree-like Ent characters out of Lord of The Rings!
Admittedly, the food is just okay, not brilliant. But the setting is great. I don't recommend the Seafood & Glassnoodle Salad but I had some prawn rolls which were quite nice. Leave a Comment

At first, we thought it's an expensive restaurant (open-air). Its setting gave us this feeling. Then we read the menu. The prices of dishes varied, according to the type of food you ordered (more expensive for seafood, of course), ranging from RM2.5 to RM6 per dish. With the explanation of the patient watier, we ordered several dishes. It's really a great dinner and the food was so yummy!!! I really miss it!
We ordered: - fish masala - chicken tandoori - beef masala - fried squid - mixed vegetables - cheese naan - brown rice - mixed juice All tasted great!!!! esp. the fish, the beef, the cheese naan and mixed juice! The whole table of food costed us around RM35! What a great dinner!
