    Underwater World Souvenir Store: Underwater World Souvenir Store

    Just after the exit area of the last room of Underwater World, you will find their big souvenir store that sells assorted souvenir items related to Underwater world and langkawi like underwater world stuff toys, mascots, key chains, t-shirts, baseball caps, polo shirts, post cards and also some langkawi souvenir stuffs and off course the prices here are higher than the same souvenir langkawi items outside.

    they even sell jewelry items at the souvenir store!

    after the souvenir store, you will exit at the Coco Store Duty Free and EON Duty free stores.

    Souvenir store of Underwater world opens: 10:00 am to

    What to buy: all the touristy souvenir items related to underwater world and some langkawi ones too and even jewelries

    What to pay: prices are fixed!

    Kilim Geoforest Park Souvenir Stores: Kilim Geoforest Park Souvenir Stores

    Since the Mangrove tour of the Kilim Geoforest Park is one of the major attractions of Pulau Langkawi, the boat station where all tour groups (big group, small group and private) hop on a speed boat and ride the mangrove tour and the area around it, has many stalls of eateries and souvenir shops which again sells assorted kitschy local touristy items and local crafts and also most of it you will find at souvenir stalls and stores in Pantai Cenang.

    most of the stalls open at 8:00 am to 7:00 pm as most mangrove tours start at 9:00 am and 2:00 pm everyday.

    What to buy: virtually the same souvenir stuffs you can find at Pantai Cenang/Tengah which can be cheaper or higher, depending on your haggling skills

    What to pay: depends on your haggling skills

    Sky Boutique: Sky Boutique Langkawi Sky Cable Shop

    the Langkawi Sky Cab has it's own souvenir shop that is separate from the souvenir shops of Oriental Village and it has two outlets, the bigger one at the Base Station at the foot of Gunung Macinchang and at the Top Station of which it sells assorted Sky Cab souvenir items and also general langkawi souvenir items. all the kitchy souvenir items like shirts, caps, umbrellas, raincoats, post cards, shot glasses, cooling fans and a lot more.

    opens: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm everyday

    What to buy: again, all the touristy items you can think of and the prices are fixed

    What to pay: fix price but are not expensive

    Souvenir & Duty Free Store Langkawi Bird Paradise: Langkawi Bird Paradise and Wildlife Park Store

    Being one of the tourist attractions of Langkawi, the Langkawi Bird Paradise and Wildlife park has it' own souvenir store, actually in 2 areas! at the middle of the park in the huge aviary area (and also has it's own jewelry store) and at the exit of the park. it even has it's own duty free store which sells mostly perfumes, alcoholic products and cigarettes and chocolates and food stuffs and some clothes, bags and kitchen items side by side with the souvenir store at the exit area. you can even find some wild animals in aquariums like snakes and insects at the souvenir store in the aviary area.

    Opening Hours/Daily : 830am - 7.00pm everyday

    What to buy: all the touristy items you can think of like Langkawi Bird Paradise Souvenir Items and general langkawi souvenir items and also many duty free items like perfumes, liqour, cigarettes, clothes, bags and kitchen equipment, to name a few and also some semi precious and precious jewelry items from the jewelry store in the middle of the aviary.

    What to pay: prices are fixed and duty free items are on par with prices at Pantai Cenang Area

    Souvenir Stalls at Dataran Lang (Eagle Square): Souvenir Stalls at Dataran Lang (Eagle Square)

    Eagle Square in Kuah Town is another Major Attraction in Pulau Langkawi and it has quite a number of shops and snack stands that line both areas of the roman style half arch that lies at both sides of the main pathway going to the eagle statue and these souvenir shops sell everything from clothes, eyeglasses, post cards, fridge magnets, shot glasses, keychains, other kitschy items and even cold bottled water and other drinks and some local snack foods. a good thing here is haggling is allowed so you better be good at it.

    opens: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm everyday

    What to buy: all the souvenir items and other kitschy items you can think of and also bottled water and other drinks and some local snacks and snack foods.

    What to pay: depends on your haggling skills

    Cenang Mall: Cenang Mall

    this will be my shopping tips on cenang mall, I will have a separate things to do for it.

    The Cenang Mall is a Brand New Mall in Pantai Cenang and is the Biggest Mall in Pantai Cenang Area and it was opened just in September 2012 by a local Malaysian Company, PL Soon Huat Realty Sdn Bhd. It is located in the Center of JL Pantai Cenang and the mall is composed of moderate sized two-storey complex which boasts 45 shop lots with an elevator and escalator. Among the biggest tenants here are Starbucks, Old Town Coffee, KFC, Chatime, Maybank, Wakara Japanese Restaurant and assorted stores, Drug Store, Convenience Store and souvenir stalls and export overrun stores selling branded clothes like Ralph Lauren, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Burberry, etc.

    Opens: 10:00 to 11:00 pm everyday

    there is a nearby taxi stand beside the exit road of the mall

    What to buy: all the souvenir items and export overrun branded items and local crafts and dining and coffee places.

    What to pay: you can haggle at the souvenir shops and local crafts stores here but not at the stores selling export overruns

    More shops in Kuah Town

    Other than shopping malls, Kuah Town has many smaller shops which also selling duty free item. We managed to sneak in this shop before it closed. But the boss will be happy to let us in, because as the last group of customer, we spent more than RM2,000 in this shop in less than 30 minutes.

    Shopping Mall near pier

    This shopping mall is near the pier. It is 3 stories. The ground floor is a department store/supermarket/duty free.
    You need to spend a minimum of 50 RM to use a credit card.
    On the ground floor, there is a foot massage place: $16 CAD for 45 mins. On the 2nd floor, there is a designer outlet in the F.O.S. store. Also there is a handbag store selling designer knock-offs.

    After visiting the Underwater World, you may want to shops for duty free stuffs at The Zon. It is in the same building of the Underwater World.

    Plenty of anchovies to choose from...they're so fresh too.

    What to pay: Depends on the type of fish you choose. It's between RM15-RM25 a kg. Also sold in small packs at RM4-RM10.

    Awana has several little shops on the boardwalk.
    They have clothing and souvenirs.
    What we bought was at a very good price.
    Some shops are closed during Chinese New Year.

    What to buy: Liquour, beer, tobacco, chocolates

    What to pay: Beer has definetly gone up, it use to be as cheap as RM1 [many years back] but 2007, its got up to RM1.70 but also varies in brands.
