    irdina nasi kukus stall...

The stall is located next to Fully Hotel, the best hotel in Gua Musang... It is located in a simple zinc and wooden structure with long wooden stools and table for customers... Judging from its patronage, it is a very popular stall in Gua Musang...

Favorite Dish: The speciality is nasi kukus... This is effectively the normal nasi lemak... You can have the nasi with ayam rempah (chicken with spicies), fried egg, vegetables, fried groundnuts, sambal ikan bilis etc... The word “kukus” refers to the wooden container that the rice is cooked in... The wooden container is suppose to give the rice a hint of flavor normal electrical cooker just wouldn’t do... That is like frying or cooking vegetables with charcoal fire instead of using gas...

The stall also sells a variety of local Kelantanese kuih (cakes) in the morning for a simple breakfast...

    the hawker centre...

The hawker centre is the favourite of the local people for a quick and cheap meal... It is open for breakfast and lunch... Only 2 stalls are opened in the morning...

Favorite Dish: The first stall is noted for its curry laksa and noodle soup... The second stall is well known for its frog porridge and pan mee... We tried the frog porridge which is extremely good as the frogs are not reared but caught from the many rivers in the vicinity... However, the pan mee is just passable...
