Umbai Transportation

It's very easy to get to Umbai. From Melaka Sentral you can take either Malacca Omnibus Service (MOS) & S.K.A bus service to Muar or Merlimau (both company seldom put a specific number on their bus; so, just read at the bus route signboard). The bus frequency is every 15-20 minutes for both company. Or, you can take Town Bus Service no 23, if I'm not mistaken (just read at the bus route signboard). The last destination for the Town Bus Service is Anjung Batu Jetty, Umbai, and the bus frequency is every 30-45 minutes. Just ask the bus driver or bus conductor to stop you at Umbai Small Town (from here you can walk to Umbai Baru Floating Grilled Fish Village) or stop at Anjung Batu Jetty ( to Besar island and also to Anjung Batu Grilled Fish stalls). The bus fare, non air-conditioned bus : RM 1.50 and air-conditioned bus : RM 1.60-RM 1.70.
