When you're in a jungle in Malaysia, Singapore or Indonesia, look before you pee! The locals believe that there are forest spirits in stones, lakes and particularly at the foot of big trees. Should you pee on those places, you might inflame the spirits and get possessed. Should what should you do in an urgent situation? Beg for permission before soiling the ground . Alternatively, just visit the hotel restroom before going for a trek.
