The Padang Golf Bukit Fraser is the only golf course in Bukit Fraser as the other 18-holes Fraser's Hill Golf Club has been closed for some time now... It is a public course and any golfer can pay and play... The 9-holes course plays to a short par-32 measuring 1,953m from the single tee box... There are 5 par-3s, 3 par-4s and a single par-5... The fairway is of cow grass... While the course is tight, there is minimum water but undulating with elevated tee-boxes and greens... The fairway is a bit soggy in the morning due to the high dew and is almost impossible to play during rainy seasons where the balls will be plugged due to the soft ground...
Equipment: The golf registration office is at the sports complex itself... This is a walking course and trolleys can be rented at the registration office...

Unlike birds found in the lowlands (some are migratory birds), bird species in the highlands tend to be related to those of subtropical mainland Asia and they are here for more permanents basis.
What you really need for birdwatching is a pair of binoculars, a field guide (location specific) & you notebook to write down your birding observation.
