Some of my friends call Ye Olde Smokehouse at Fraser's a tourist trap since it's expensive, small and can't be compared to the grander inn at Cameron Highlands. I don't blame them since those sods at the inn attempted to charge me RM5 for a bottle of mineral water and RM20 for tea and scones. Though it was affordable, I felt that it was daylight robbery by local standards.
Unique Suggestions: I guess you're better going to MIMI Taman Strawberi Kafe. Their delicious strawberry waffles and strawberry tea is just as appealing and cheaper than the fare at Ye Olde Smokehouse. The ambience is equally appealing, the dining table is right in the middle of the greenhouse.

Don't forget to fill up your petrol tank before you depart coz there isn't any gas station nearby. Another thing is 'cash', although there's a Maybank branch there, but NO ATM machine, and many places don't accept card.
