    Jungle Walk No. 9

Tanah Rata offers many jungle treks of different length and severity which are well-marked. We tried the Jungle Walk No. 9 which was said to be quite easy, but as it had rained before the path was slippery and not so easy as expected. Nevertheless, it leads through dense, beautiful jungle and also includes the Robinson Waterfalls.

Equipment: Bring enough drinking water and wear good walking shoes.

Cameron Highlands 18 hole Golf course allows visitors to play in comfort away from the heat and humidity at sea level.

The sourse is quite challenging with trichy greens and undulating terrain. Best to play from early in the morning as heavy afternoon rains are quite common

    the clubhouse...

The Cameron Highlands Golf Club is a public course situated between Tanah Rata and Brinchang... It was originally developed in 1935 to provide British residents of the highlands with recreational activity... Initially there were just 5 holes and this was extended to 9 holes shortly before the war... It is now a full fledged 18-holes course... The course is undulating with drainage tranches across the fairways... The course is of cow grass and is very soggy for play during the rainy season...

The course is rather short and plays to 5,579m from the blue tees with the Brinchang (1st) Nine at 2,941m and the Tanah Rata (2nd) Nine at 2,638m...

It is the only golf course in Cameron Highlands...

Equipment: The course is a walking course... Caddies may be hired... The clubhouse is very small and basic with a nice golfer terrace... There are no changing rooms for golfers... Green fee is RM52.50 and RM42 for senior golfers... Caddies are at RM30 while trolley can be rented at RM16... all for 18-holes...

    Daily Farm

    Difficulty: Easy walk
    Time: approx. 1.5 hr
    Distance: 2.6km

A simple & easy walk trail, just watch out your steps coz some parts of trail may slipery especially after rain. It end up at Daily Farm in Boh Road. Either take a left to the Boh tea plantation which is another 3km (gates of the plantation) and another 1.5km to the factory. Or take a right to the junction of Boh Road and the main road, where you can catch a local bus back to Tanah Rata.

But take the reverse trail back to Robinson Waterfall is recomended after 5pm. There's no bus service in the evening.

Equipment: T-Shirt, Trekking Shoe / Sport Shoe, Drinking Water.

Sandle is ok but some parts of trail may become quite slipery after rain.
