Compared the terrible grub found in Taman Negara, the food here is heavenly. This includes junk food from KFC and the hawker centre near the train station. Of special mention is Rosli's honey BBQ chicken wing (his stall is the only one that sells chicken wings ) . It is deliciously sweet and succulent. Nothing like the charred stuff you can find in S'pore..

This town is the Gateway to Taman Negara and most folks get off the bus or train from here to visit Taman Negara. Take note though, that it's about 18 kilometers from the train station to the ferry......
