There used to be 2 golf courses in Kuala Lipis... The Empang Jaleh Golf Club and the Lipis Valley Golf Club...
The Empang Jaleh is an 18-hole course with a nice clubhouse... but it has seen better times... Due to a lack of golfers playing the course, it was closed some time ago...

The 9-holes Lipis Valley Golf Club met the same fate and was closed a long time ago... The local told us that because of frequent flooding during the rainy season, it was just too expensive to continue maintaining the course... And also because of the handful of golfers in Kuala Lipis...
