Favorite thing: This tip tells you this little village of Merapoh is for mountain climbers to challenge the 7000+ feet highest peak in peninsular Malaysia. To get to Merapuh, one can go by bus to Gua Musang from Kuala Lumpur and make sure you remind your driver to drop you just 20+ kms before Gua Musang. The village is so small only I saw few stalls and grocery stores and the rest were just jungles and a path road for cars to drive into the Taman Negara office. That's where you start your climb to Mount Tahan. For more detail information, please refer to my original page of Taman Negara.
