I have traveled all over Tioman, and found the most amazing bar on any beach I have ever been to. Bar Ruma or Rooma is located in Genting, a 15 minute walk north of the jetty down a nice paved and well lit path. It is directly on the beach and is impossible to miss. It has a gorgeous sand patio under a natural tree awning,'hammocks,
Swings, a swinging picnic table, and many other hand made unique pieces of furniture and art.'unlike many other beach bars,'this place has unmistakable style and atmosphere. The owners are a super friendly young couple that speak many languages, and play super chill island music all night.'i think they also rent a small beachfront room for very cheap. My two nights at this bar were hands down the best time in Tioman.'

Paya Beach Resort Bar is a nice place to chill with a beer or coctail (forget drinking wine on Tioman - the heat affects it and it goes to vinegar).
I wanted to sing Kareoke and we asked about it but there mustn't have been enough people or something because they didn't have it even though it is advertised as part of the activities.
Oh well, we still had plent to do for entertainment :o)

In the evening, Stieven (the resort owner) had arranged for a Barbeque dinner on the Juara Beach, right in front of the resort. He barbequed snapper fishes, jumbo prawns, chicken legs, cuttle fish and crabs. They were absolutely delicious. The dinner spread was mouthwatering and the seafood was absolutely fresh. Steiven said the fishes were netted in the late afternoon by his men from the South China Sea. There was no reason not to believe him.
Afterr the dinner, the resort helpers also held a bonfire on the beach. We just sat around the bonfire and danced all night. The only thing that was missing moonlit night.
Dress Code: Informals. Just to take are that you are not bitten by the sandflies

Peaceful during the night. You can count stars on the sky and watching full moon beside listening to the ocean breeze.
Around here, you may check out the place where you can listen to the local band perform or even you can go for kareoke or maybe you just want to relax at the restaurant. Up to you!
Overall, nightlife here completely peace.

Hi all, I dive every now and then in Tioman, and stay in Kampung Tekek . Recently there is a new bar along the seafront - Safety Stop Cafe and Bar. It's great after a day of diving to just chill out and watch the sea while sipping a beer! Friendly bartender there.
Dress Code: Just be comfortable!

This is what I always do...everynight I was there. Infact..this is what others do as well.
You just walk along the jetty..enjoying the cool night breeze while listening to music made by waves...look down to the water... there're plenty of fishes there...walk again... till you come to end of the jetty..n then walk back...or you can just seat at any of the benches placed at the jetty while reading.. chatting...or enjoying the night in Salang...
You'll find some people fishing there. Well, according to the local people it's illegal to fish there but if the Marine Police is not around...you'll be safe...I think...
Dress Code: It can get pretty cold at night...especially when the wind's blowing hard...so bring along some thick clothes...

Dart board available, satellite tv, music varies from rock to pop to dance music.
Dress Code: very casual, they won't mind even if you come topless, for man that is, hey, it's the beach we're at.

There is not alot of entertainment on this island at night. In Kampung Genting, there is a karaoke pub, for the price of a drink (RM10), you can stay there until they close at 10p.m. If you don't like to sing, you can always watch the star twinkle in the night sky. It is very beautiful. :)
