You must dive
Snorkelling or even better is to go diving, almost everywhere you will find a dive center and in just one hour you will be able to dive about ten meters down the surface, this is wonderfull the waters arround tioman are full of marine life.
Equipment: You can bring your own gear a mask a tube and the flippers, but if this is not your case rent it, anyway it is cheaper to carry at list the mask and the tube all the way from home

Dip or Dive!
I've got my basic scubadiving licence (PADI)in 1999.Ever since then, I would make use of the opportunity to "practice" my underwater skills whenever I'm on a short leave.
I went there with Yvoone and along met a few new found friends of same interest.(evidenced shown on the pic).
There are quite a number of dive sites on tioman island such as Tiger reef....sorry forgotten the names.
I can't wait to get my Advanced Diving Cert.So that i can commence Night Dive ...that would be sooo exciting! *keeping my toes crossed*
Cost of travel: SG$250-350 (with everything included from lodging and food and transport)
Equipment: I brought my own equipment (masks, fins, booties, snorkle and weight belt).
Others such like BC and regulator and wetsuit are rented from the Dive Shop itself.
