    by l_joo Written Jul 1, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Panglima Kinta Mosque is also in Ipoh, location is nearby the 'dataran'. This mosque is golden and white, quite big, very old and of course beautiful, not a waste of time if you spend some time looking at it.

This is a famous cave temple 5 km south of Ipoh. The facade of the temple dates from 1950, if you go inside you can climb a lot of stairs. There are a lot of monkeys overthere not afraid of people!

This park was on the opposite side of the river from the Kinta Riverfront Hotel. It looked quite pretty, but I just had a quick look. I did not explore it fully.

by IreneMcKay Written Feb 10, 2014

Around the corner from our hotel there was a little Chinese temple. I don't even know its name, but it was housed in an attractive building and had some pretty shrines and plants.

I love hanging around at this golf resort. There are lots of sports activities to do (for me mainly tennis and swimming). But the natural beauty is almost like paradise on earth.
