Enjoy Bi Long Villa
by Edy8
Master Lau Soon Heng, the fengshui expert who built the unique Auyin Hill in Malacca has developed Bi Long Villa, a retreat for visitors to regain positive aura and energy. On arrival at the Bi Long Villa, visitors are allocated to communal rooms for `ladies' and `gentlemen'. Undergoing the bath ritual is a must and eating the `Huang-ti' meal at 8.00 pm is vital. A little rest and soon, we hear talks by the master's students and eventually at the auspicious time of 3.45 am, the visitors walked round the fengshui formation in the Villa to `absorb' the positive aura....... Finally, the master came and spoke. At 85 years old, this older man could talk on and on for hours... My recommendation - it is a wonderful experience which believers should try.
Across The Dinding River, Damar Laut
by gnh
On the other side of the Dinding river where Lumut is, Damar Laut used to be a small stop with a few wooden shops.People from Taiping and Pantai Remis took the ferry here to cross to Lumut, and vice versa. Now the shops have disappeared, there is a new ferry terminal, and you can have a nice view of Lumut from across the river.

Bird Sanctuary, Kuala Gula
by gnh
Kuala Gula bird sanctuary is known for its migratory birds, especially the Siberian Stork. It's off the Taiping - Bagan Serai road. Drive through thousands of acres of oil palm estates before you finally arrive. The fishing village of Kuala Gula is also a fascinating place to visit, with the dried shrimps being sunned on the roads !

Tronoh Mines - Mine Fishing
by city_guy
One of my old past time hobbies. Fishing at the old tin mines. We used to go for a morning till evening trip. B'fast at one of the local stalls then head to the wet market to get some bait, then straight to the mines. And look what I caught! Using raw beef as bait. Yes, I'm not kidding, Raw Beef. The species of fish I'm holding is locally called 'Toman' or 'Giant Asian Snakehead' or the Sc.name Channa Micropeltes. Many people eat them, but I don't. I release them back after the catch. :)Fishing anyone?☺
