Praying to the Na Tok Kong
Every year, the Na Tok Kong celebrate the god birthday on 11th day of 11th moon following Chinese Lunar Calendar. There will be a celebration and playing of Chinese Teochew Opera for 10 days.
On 1st and 15th day every Lunar Moon, Chinese community with Tao religion would come to the temple for their praying.
They can bring their own candle, joss stick and joss paper at their wish or buy from the temple counter. The small packet of joss stick start from RM0.80 is enough for the whole praying process start from the Sky god and end at the Ground god. Prayer can also pay to light big candle or big dragon joss stick.
Burning of too many joss paper is not so popular nowaday.
Prayer can give donation to the temple, pronoun their wish and hit the drum for the Na Tok Kong god to hear about it.

The Chinese Temple / The Teochew Opera
Chinese community in Parit Buntar and the neighbour towns nearby still following the old generation's religious of Tao. There are many big temples in town and the Zheng Zhu Niangniang Miao in Taman Seri Tenggara, Parit Buntar is among one. During every Lunar 6th moon, the oganising committee members inviting the Teachew Opera to perform a few nights' playing to celebrate the anniversary of the god in the temple - Zheng Zhu Niangniang.
Local citizens will come for the praying and watching the opera show. Today, subtitile in Chinese charactors is shown so younger genaration will easily understand what is the meaning of the story.
Beside watching the opera, it is a good time for friends and family gathering at the hawker stalls for a supper. This year ( August 2012 ), there is a candy art maker perform his skill of candy making and selling his candy, you can get a very fancy candy @ RM2.
