    Chinese temples always fascinate me with a cast of colourful characters and technicolor treasures.

    The one near Pinang Kecil about a kilometre north of Pangkor Town is no exception. Just check out the tin man with the top hat in centre picture!

    The Pan Pacific Resort even has it's very own small Chinese temple at the northern end of the grounds just below the lush thick jungle.

    Pangkor is lush with tall palm trees bearing much fruit so I was not surprised to find the locals shelling coconuts for its food and various other by-products.
