While visiting Ipoh, most people bring back Pamelo. It is a big fruit in the citrus family. It is almost like a XL size of grapefruit but in green colour. Chinese people use them for praying during chinese new year, mooncake festival, and etc. Of course the pamelo will be eaten after the praying. It is difficult to get a sweet one. You should ask the seller to choose the best one for you.

You can buy this beautiful hand crafted pottery at the Malaysian Handicraft Center, souvenier shops in Perak or along the way in Ipoh or Kuala Kangsar. Ipoh is also famous for it ceramic product. long long time ago when there’s no refrigerators, the village people store their drinking water in the gourd shaped vessel called 'labu' and brought it to the padi field, farms etc. After a hard days work they drink the water from the 'labu' which stay fresh and cool! It depends on the size and shape of the 'Labu'
