While visiting Ipoh, most people bring back Pamelo. It is a big fruit in the citrus family. It is almost like a XL size of grapefruit but in green colour. Ipoh is also famous for it ceramic product. long long time ago when there’s no refrigerators, the village people store their drinking water in the gourd shaped vessel called 'labu' and brought it to the padi field, farms etc. After a hard days work they drink the water from the 'labu' which stay fresh and cool! It depends on the size and shape of the 'Labu'
