Favorite thing: St Anthony school, Jalan Sekolah,36000 Teluk Intan. This is an old British colonial school if I not mistaken, the outlook told me this school is built then. Location is in town center, next to the big Inidan temple, not far away is the leaning tower.

Favorite thing: This is one of the famous town to repair or create a new deisgn.....
Boatmaking is an interesting activity to watch and through the centuries, it has also become a much-prized skill among the coastal villagers of Perak. This activity has given rise to numerous boatmaking yards along the coast of the town of Teluk Intan.
At the Teluk Intan Boatyards, visitors can watch the boatmakers – builders and craftsmen rolled into one – as they set about making their fishing vessels from chengal.
The tough and heavy hardwood obtained from this tree, which is unique to Malaysia, possesses a durability which makes it very suitable for boats as it is able to withstand the effects of sea-water. Since these wooden boats are fine at sea, they are certainly capable of being used for riverine fishing as well.

Favorite thing: It is official: BIG Cinema, run by Lotus FiveStar Group who operates similar cinemas across the country (including Sitiawan) has opened in Teluk Intan. It is located at the former site of Rex Cinema. The pulling down of Rex Cinema means the oldest surviving cinema in Teluk Intan is officially no more. This new cineplex is said to have 3 halls, sitting maximum 150 people each. Not bad for Teluk Intan…

I saw in Teluk Intan town center quite many Indian peoples, my common sense told me they are the descendants of their forefathers, agree?

Favorite thing: Kiung Chow Hoey Kwan is like a club for early days Chinese immigrants, for them to seek helps and meet friends from same village. Most old towns in Malaysia has at least one or two, is a must then but not much of use in modern days.
