The stall is known to and is a favourite to most locals... So in order not to be disappointed, make sure that you are early before the favourite dishes start to sell out...
The stall is opened daily from 10.30am to 2.00pm... The occasional off day is not fixed...
Favorite Dish: Most of the home-cooked dishes on offer are spiced up with chillies... The pork cooked in a thick curry is quite exceptional... A must-eat is the salted fish with onions in a tamarind-based gravy... With this style fo rpeparation, it is tangy, salty and slightly sour... The duck dish which is quite similar to the Nyonya dish of itek sioh, is another good eat... The meat comes off the bone quite easily and there is a nice flavour of coriander in the dish... A slightly sweet prawn sambal is also a good bet...

It's a new bakery shop in town. It has a variety of baguettes, breads, buns, pizzas, cookies and cakes. The baguettes and breads are made from special ingredients, eg. honey and sunflower seeds. These are healthier baguettes and breads. If you wish to enjoy a snack, there are few open-air seats. Drinks are available. At the moment, fresh-brewed coffee is not available.
Favorite Dish: I love the baguettes the most.
There are a wide range of choices.

As a small restaurant in a small town, Bornom is well known with its "Kampung" like setting.
The "Attap" hut and some local or western food, it may give you a good memory.
It is not so expensive, easily RM20 for two person dinner + the romantic open air atmosphere. But in Perlis, open air might give an extra bonus free of charge, the mosquitos!!!

In Bahasa Malaysia, Kampung means "village". May be, Kangar is not a very small village, but it is the place I being brought up, I still think it is a small Kampung as like my memory since kid's time
