Honestly, I can't help you much over here in terms of public transport since we drove there. All we did was to take the highway to Bayan Lepas and later the coastal route to Batu Maung. The sign to the museum is kinda huge so you shouldn't miss it. Also, there are lots of friendly locals who can point the way.
