    Prangin Mall: Knick Knacks

by cheekychic Written Dec 17, 2004 112 reviews

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Deemed to be the largest shopping mall in Penang, but not all shops are opened. A girl can find almost everything she wants in this mall, mostly knick knacks at reasonable prices. There's a departmental store, supermarket, a cinema, variety of small eats shops, computer & dvd shops, hair & beauty salons, etc..

What to buy: Mostly casual clothes, fancy handbags & accessories, DVDs.

What to pay: Most prices are fixed, but can still try to bargain 10% discount.

What to buy: Clothes, Pharmacy, Saloon, Cafe, Restaurants, Giant supermarket, Local Haker Food ......almost everything you need can be found here.

    Shopping Galore

On my last trip I did most of my shopping at Gurney Plaza but I prefer the Island Plaza on Jln. Tanjung Tokong that is less crowded. You can find many of the same shops in both malls, for example, Factory Outlet Stores, Mango, and Vinci. Thereýs also the Midlands Park Centre at Burmah Road.

If you stay at Batu Feringgi side, except Super Tanjung, Gurney Plaza is the nearest shopping mall. It is situated at Gurney Drive. There is a cinema inside, is Golden cinema if I am not mistaken.
