this is the place where you can walk down gurney drive with ur love one. oopsss... for single trourist, dun worry you can have all the fun here too...such as enjoying tons of hawkers food here, shopping at Gurney plaza, enjoying the sea breeze while having a cup of coffee at coffee bean and let ur hair down at pub/club/disco in Gurney Hotel (at the end of Gurney drive).
Have a trip down to Guerney Drive hawker street at night for an interesting adventure of local Penang delicacies.
There are many stalls selling different types of delicacies of Penang. It is usually quite crowded especially during the weekends when the locals come here for dinner.
The picture shows my "model" having some sticks of "lok-lok". Basically, you just select what you would like to eat, then put the sticks of food into the boiling water. Let it cook, then take it out of the water and dip the stick in some chilli or sweet sauce.. yummm.... simply delicious!
Take a bracing evening stroll by the seafront . Gurney Drive offers a wide choice of restaurants. hawker centres and coffeeshops - prefect for watching the world go by!
Gurney Drive is a popular destination for hawker style food along the coast. Nice place to stop for a cheap bite to eat. However, as it is often quite crowded in the evening, parking can be scarce.
