Luggage and bags:
A small backpack for your bottled drinks and stuff
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Light T-shirt or Dri-fit, Good grip sports shoes with socks or sandals. A cap/sunshade. Bring a raincoat just in case.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Insect repellent. Some salt or tobacco to "drop" leeches that cling on you. Sunblock lotion
Photo Equipment: Powerful flash for capturing good pics in the dense.
Miscellaneous: " a dose of positive attitude"
Ask your kids to wear long sleeve shirts and trousers. Also bring along some mosquito repellant as there are mosquitoes at the riverside. To be fair, there were no mosquitoes when we were on the ride itself, but there were certainly quite a lot at the restaurant and at the boat-park waiting area.
Photo Equipment: The kelip-kelip area is completely pitch-black and no flash photography is allowed. (It was so dark, that I couldn't even turn my digital camera on while on board the boat.)
Miscellaneous: The mosquito repellant that I use, KAPS, is herbal and can be applied directly onto the skin. It may be bought at pharmacies and some supermarkets.
