The biggest in the town of Petaling Jaya. And it take almost the whole day to actually venture everything inside this huge mall.
So many stuffs are house in 1- utama. They range from food cafe & restaurant outlets. Lots of fashion outlets for men & ladies (fcuk, tommy, guess, levis, etc), a couple of cinemas, a huge departmental store, an average music store (tower records), telecommunication outlets, hair & beauty salon, pharmacy, optical, jewelry outlets and the list goes on.

The biggest home furnshing store for Ikea in Malaysia - so far. Lot of practical stuff inside here. Take me about 2 hours to browse thru most of the items . Any if you are tired from walking or looking you can take a break at their foodcourt which is located inside too. Indulge nice swedish food there.yum yum.

TESCO is from UK. A common household name over there. This was the 2nd hypermarket for them. It's huge, clean and bright.

A night view inside Centrepoint. very nice, brightly lit & people were eating.... The top os this complex is a hostel where many students from China studying at a college nearby, Kolej Damansara... Outside this complex, at the back, you can find some 'Mamak Stalls'...where they normally patronised by all those Chinese students ! Leave a Comment Theme: Other |
This is the nearest shopping complex to where I stay. Called Centrepoint... There's 7 Eleven, a supermarket, a Post Office, a salon...some fine dinings, cheap or a bit pricey; a bar/pub type thing...a 24 hours Indian restaurant, a clinic & some cheap 'Mamak Stalls' (street vendors...).... Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Well, from Kuala Lumpur...or any areas of KL, you can take a cab to reach this complex : To Centrepoint Bandar Utama, you should say... |
Another 'one' is being built just next to One Utama, this one is called 2 Utama ! One Utama is already big with the floor areas but I think 2 Utama will be overtake the size... More shops, more eating options...that's what competetion is about right ?...maybe to some people, it would confuse them anyway ! I prefer the small size Centrepoint anytime... Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: It's not completed yet...Just next to One Utama Shopping Complex... |
This is a bit of a garden inside Centrepoint Mall...some weird looking trees on the ground floor; Surely attracts mosquitoes at night ! Anyway, it's good for my camera so I snapped a photo just to show you guys... Leave a Comment Theme: Other |
I think IKEA has made a very good business in promoting 'home furnishings' to people live in PJ areas; Also attracts many people from all over Malaysia actually. I took this photo & then suddenly got chased away by this stupid security guard, thinking that I was doing some probes on the building ! See, it's like this : We can go to ANY shopping complexes in Malaysia but NO photos are allowed in the premises because competetion is brisk business-wise, people would 'nick' some ideas of the constructions, maybe checking the prices on the goods sold,...you know this sort of stuffs ! Anyway, bring a camera, just snap away & when asked not to, then pretending that you NEVER read this tip, okay ! Leave a Comment Theme: Home Furnishing |
